Highways Quantity Surveyor

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: £400 - £450 per day

Contract Duration: 3 months initial contract

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Highways QS to join a client in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time contract, initially for 3 months, with remote working options available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Highway Service Manager in managing the Council's NEC4 Term Services Contract.
  • Review and issue task orders under pricing options A, C, or E, assess Star Rates, and manage Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
  • Experience in a Highways Maintenance environment is preferred, but a QS background is also desirable.
  • Some line management of team members will be required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Preferably qualified or working towards CICES or RICS accreditation.
  • Relevant CSCS Card.
  • Good knowledge of NEC suite of contracts.
