Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in East Sussex seeks a Highways Projects Supervisor to oversee site works from planning to completion, leading teams and subcontractors to meet programme and quality standards.

Role is primarily Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours daily, with some night shifts and a shift premium. Requires SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, NRSWA Supervisor accreditation, and a Full UK driving licence, plus a commitment to Zero Harm and inclusive teamwork.

• Proven experience supervising site teams within highways, civils, or infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead site teams in delivering highway maintenance and improvement schemes, including surfacing, drainage, and paving.
• Ensure all operatives and subcontractors are set to work safely with clear task briefings and robust risk controls.
• Maintain daily site records, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and the public, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify and manage site constraints, ensuring defects are addressed promptly to maintain 'right-first-time' delivery.

Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for infrastructure and safety? We are actively seeking a talented Highways Projects Supervisor to join our clients dynamic team in East Sussex. Role Overview

As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating highways project works from planning through to completion. You will provide essential site-based leadership, setting teams and subcontractors to work safely while ensuring projects are delivered to programme and meet our high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant supervisory qualifications (such as SSSTS or SMSTS) and a valid CSCS card.
• NRSWA Supervisor accreditation for street works.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to Zero Harm and inclusive team working.
• Full UK driving licence.
