Job description

Are you an experienced Highways Project Manager looking for your next big challenge? FM Conway’s successful Term Maintenance division is expanding, and we have an exciting opportunity to work on our Lewisham contract. As FM Conway’s Highways Project Manager, you will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from planning through to completion, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all site activities. This permanent, full-time position is based at our depot in Dartford, Kent.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading pre-planning, pre-programming, and overall delivery of works, ensuring client satisfaction.
2. Maintaining coordination between clients, supervisors, and subcontractors for successful site management.
3. Collaborating with the Head of Contracts to communicate and deliver contract requirements.
4. Ensuring the works programme is fully resourced with labour, plant, and materials.
5. Overseeing project performance and ensuring accurate, timely monthly invoicing.
6. Managing a team of supervisors to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of works.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in working on Term Maintenance contracts as a Highways Project Manager.
• Excellent resource planning, cost management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• CSCS card, degree or equivalent qualification, and a construction-related qualification such as NVQ Level 6, HNC, or HND.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel to other company locations.
