Job summary

Multevo is recruiting for a Highways Operative to join our Lancashire-based team. You will help maintain and improve the road network, delivering high-quality highways maintenance works while prioritising safety for communities and road users.

Ideal candidates have Asphalt hand-lay experience, a valid HGV Class 2 Licence, a Full UK Driving Licence, and CSCS/NRSWA accreditation. You will work on live road environments with support from an experienced team and the company provides PPE and tools.

Qualifications

• Asphalt hand-lay works experience is essential.
• Ironwork replacement and reinstatement knowledge.
• Kerb and flagging replacement experience.
• Ability to work safely in live highway environments.
• CSCS/NRSWA accreditation is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Lancashire's road network through highways maintenance works.
• Deliver high-quality, safe works that keep communities and road users moving smoothly.
• Collaborate with a team to meet project standards and timelines.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a vital role in helping maintain and improve Lancashire's road network, delivering high-quality highways maintenance works that keep communities and road users moving safely.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

Asphalt hand-lay works (essential)

Ironwork replacement and reinstatement

Kerb and flagging replacement works

Working safely and effectively within live highways environments

HGV Class 2 Licence

Full UK Driving Licence

CSCS and/or NRSWA Accreditation
