Job summary

CPC Project Services LLP in Birmingham is seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to deliver highway and infrastructure schemes from design through to construction. You will join a growing Transport & Infrastructure team and work closely with major local authority clients to shape how people travel in the region.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage commercial risk and ensure governance and NEC contract compliance, delivering schemes on time, to budget and with high quality

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highways, transport or infrastructure projects for or within a local authority.
• Understanding of local authority governance, procurement and business case processes.
• Experience working under NEC contracts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DMRB and highway design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead highway and infrastructure projects through design and construction stages.
• Manage commercial aspects and risk to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams in development and delivery of schemes.
• Ensure compliance with local authority governance and procurement processes.
• Prepare and present Full Business Case reports to elected members and stakeholders.
• Apply DMRB and other highway design standards to designs.
• Run public consultations and present to public, stakeholders and elected members.
• Manage contractors and NEC-based project commercial details.
