Job Title: Highways Improvements Manager

Location: London, UK

Salary: £60,000-£63,000 plus other benefits

I am working in partnership with my client based in London to look for a Highways Improvements Manager to join the Highways team. The candidate will be responsible for the management and improvements to highways assets, leading the daily operations of works and liaising with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of the Highways Improvements Manager:

1. Lead a highways engineering team on major programmes
2. Ensure compliance with budgets and legislation
3. Prepare bids and estimates and monitor fee income projections
4. Risk assessment and mitigation of highways works
5. Develop and maintain rapport with internal teams and external stakeholders
6. Deliver work within time and budget effectively
7. Development of key plans for investment of highways infrastructure

Key Requirements of the Highways Improvements Manager:

1. Relevant qualification related to the highways sector
2. Experience within a similar highways asset management/maintenance role
3. Extensive knowledge of the highways sector, including structures and flood water management
4. Strong understanding of highways legislation
5. Commercial acumen skills
6. Abilities to communicate with key contacts
7. Based within London
