Job summary

Northumberland County Council is looking for an HGV driver to support the Highways team in Morpeth. You will operate various heavy goods vehicles to help deliver highway schemes and maintenance across the county. This role involves occasional civil ground works such as paving, drainage and tarmac repairs.

• Driving various HGV vehicles to assist with the delivery of Highways Schemes within the Morpeth Area.
• On occasions, you will assist with civil ground works and as part of the team assist with task such as paving, drainage and tarmac repairs.

• Ability to work unsupervised between sites.
• Knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to driving
