Job Description: Delivery Lead - Highway Assets (M25, London)

Our client, a prominent organisation in the highways industry, is seeking a Delivery Lead for highway assets on the M25 in London.

Key Skills and Requirements
  • Experience in highway maintenance and leadership
  • Proven track record in managing inspections, maintenance, and projects related to pavement, barrier, fencing, and drainage assets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, preferably within a matrix organisation
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Certifications such as PMP or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and promote safety standards and behavioural safety within the team
  • Manage a large team to deliver inspections, maintenance, and projects on time and to quality standards
  • Oversee a portfolio of asset inspections, maintenance, and projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
  • Schedule and execute inspections, maintenance, and projects within set timescales and quality parameters
  • Manage budgets and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholders and clients, escalating issues when needed
  • Coordinate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and standards
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, and report on portfolio delivery
