Job summary

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is seeking a Highway Technician to join the Highways Projects Team. You will assist in designing and delivering highway improvement schemes from early investigations through to construction, working with experienced engineers and creating AutoCAD drawings.

The role offers the chance to develop professional skills across the project lifecycle and contribute to projects that improve travel, safety and connectivity for communities in Blackburn with Darwen.

Qualifications

• Support the design and delivery of highway improvement schemes from initial investigation and design through to construction.
• Produce AutoCAD drawings and coordinate site investigations.
