An established healthcare organization is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join their Integrated Therapies Team. This role involves assessing and managing patients with communication and swallowing difficulties, providing clinical supervision to junior staff, and contributing to the education of students. An opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our Integrated Therapies Team on our acute wards based at Colchester Hospital.
This is a fixed term/secondment post until 31/03/2025.
You will be responsible for the assessment & management of patients who are acutely unwell and have impaired communication and swallowing, as well as those that require specialist assessment that includes the instrumental diagnostics of video-fluoroscopy examinations.
You will have the responsibility of the clinical supervision of junior staff and be a clinical educator for students.
