Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our Integrated Therapies Team on our acute wards based at Colchester Hospital.


This is a fixed term/secondment post until 31/03/2025.


You will be responsible for the assessment & management of patients who are acutely unwell and have impaired communication and swallowing, as well as those that require specialist assessment that includes the instrumental diagnostics of video-fluoroscopy examinations.


You will have the responsibility of the clinical supervision of junior staff and be a clinical educator for students.
