This post represents an exciting opportunity to become the Lead highly specialist speech and language therapist, managing the South locality team in the Social Communication Pathway (SCP) in Manchester CAMHS. The postholder will be responsible for helping to develop the ND pathway, working across disciplines and agencies in the community to provide the best clinical care to children and young people and their families. The postholder will have experience of completing neurodevelopmental assessments and drawing together a diagnostic formulation and will be expected to work closely with the two other leads to ensure diagnostic services are equitable and transparent across the city. The postholder will also be expected to take a lead in developing the SCP pre assessment offer as part of the wider community pathway approach.
