A healthcare organization in Bournemouth is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join their adult community team. This part-time role involves managing complex cases, making clinical decisions, and leading team activities to ensure high-quality service delivery. We are looking for a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist Team. We welcome applications from experienced therapists with opportunities to develop from a Band 6 to Band 7.
As a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will manage a caseload of complex cases, undertake independent assessments, and manage service users, incorporating pharmacological considerations where appropriate. You will make complex clinical decisions regarding service user management and clinical outcomes and contribute to strategic and clinical development.
This is a part-time post of 30 hours, working within the Older Person’s Mental Health wards at Alderney and St Ann's Hospital. Our service embraces flexible working to meet service needs. You will be based within the Adult Community Speech and Language Team, working on two older person mental health wards at Alderney Hospital and one at St Ann's Hospital.
