You will be the lead specialist in the multi-professional assessment of children with deafness, including assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication needs. You will plan and implement highly specialist programs of support and intervention.

You will provide expert advice to parents, carers, education staff, students, and the SLT team on all aspects of deafness, including cochlear implants and communication methods.

You will also promote and train others in the use of AAC, including signed supported English, BSL, and other augmentative communication systems.
