We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced practitioner psychologist to the multi-disciplinary cardiac rehabilitation service at Guy's and St Thomas'. This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding psychology service within cardiology. You will provide assessment, therapeutic interventions, educational consultations, and psychological support to people that have experienced a cardiac event and have mental health/psychological difficulties related to their event and/or management of their condition. The provision of 1:1 and group evidence-based psychological interventions to promote psychological well-being in physical health is a key requirement.
In addition to direct patient contact, you will have the opportunity to contribute more broadly to the strategic development and delivery of cardiac psychology services. You may also have the opportunity to provide supervision to trainee psychologists and postgraduate students.
