Overview

We are looking for a committed Highly Specialist Pharmacist with excellent paediatric gastroenterology and pharmaceutical skills for a fixed term position at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. The successful applicant will be working with a team of highly motivated and experienced pharmacists and technicians providing patient-centred pharmaceutical care to paediatric patients.

To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate clinical pharmacy services within ELCH utilising immunotherapy to the Paediatric Gastroenterology service in accordance with the objectives set by the Principal Pharmacist. To act as a role model in the paediatric gastroenterology pharmacy fields. To provide a consistently high pharmaceutical service in line with GSTFT corporate objectives and NHS Plan.

To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate the processes for approval, appropriate use and audit of high cost medicines commissioned by NHS England (NHSE) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) in accordance with the objectives set by the Paediatric Principal Pharmacist. It is expected that at least 50% of time will be spent on clinical duties, supporting specialised gastroenterology clinical services within ELCH.
