Salary: £50,574 to £55,620Depending on experience (Pro-Rata, Term Time Only)

Due to growth within the team, our not-for-profit social enterpriseclient is looking for a Occupational Therapist to join their supportive team to work in partnership with a special school.

The Role: This is an exciting and valuable role, the successful candidate will lead and support a fantastic team of therapists and OT assistants as well as provide clinical support.

You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary team (MDT) colleagues to continuously improve our specialty, keeping our practices current and evidence-based. With a caseload of children and young people with various disabilities, your contributions will be vital to our annual service team plan and development initiatives. Your regular progress updates will help maintain our high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/BSc/Graduate Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy
  • Active HCPC registration and documented evidence of CPD (maintained portfolio)
  • A proactive approach to achieving targets, maintaining composure under pressure, and fostering a positive and safe workplace environment.
  • Dedication to lifelong learning, with a readiness to travel to other sites and work flexibly.
  • Strong organisational skills, encompassing time management, creative thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking.
  • 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years with an additional day off in your birthday month(Or for term term workers, your leave entitlement consists of the non-working periods in your contract.)
