Job Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Learning Disability Services at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves completing sensory integration assessments for people with Autism and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position is based at Halton Community Learning Disability Team, Bridges Learning Centre, Widnes, covering Halton, Warrington, St Helens, Knowsley, Liverpool, and Sefton.

Main Duties
  • Undertake sensory integration assessments for people with Autism.
  • Provide leadership and highly specialist clinical expertise in Occupational Therapy for adults with Autism.
  • Deliver an inclusive, evidence-based, and outcome-focused Occupational Therapy service.
  • Develop holistic care plans with service users and/or carers to support optimal functioning and mental health.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, person-centred treatment and care pathways.
