Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to deliver high quality, evidence-based assessment, formulation, intervention and consultation to people with complex needs and their support networks in line with occupational therapy pathways.

You will communicate with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, associates, and external agencies, and provide compassionate leadership to junior staff while strengthening the overall leadership of the service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering occupational therapy to adults with complex needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, evidence-based OT assessment, formulation, intervention and consultation to people with complex needs.
• Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, service users, carers and external agencies.
• Provide compassionate leadership to junior staff and support staff.
• Strengthen and contribute to leadership of the service and support team managers and clinical leads.
