Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Senior Assistant Technical Officer (SATO) to join our friendly and supportive Women's and Children's team at St Michael's and the Children's hospitals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in ward level medication supply & advice, including counting and supplying stock medicines.
  2. Participate in training modules related to medicines optimisation for pharmacy support staff, as provided by Pharmacy Workforce Development South (PWDS).
  3. Support the dispensing process of patient medicines in dispensaries, ensuring safe issuance.
  4. Assist in stock keeping and management within the dispensary, including stock checks and goods receipt.
  5. Provide front-line service support to dispensary customers, including answering calls and handling enquiries.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  2. Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and challenges.
  3. Willingness to complete training modules related to medicines support duties.
