We are recruiting a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join the Princess Royal University Hospital Stroke Team.
The post is part of a well-established multidisciplinary team (MDT). As the team neuropsychologist, you will provide neuropsychological assessment, intervention, and neuro-rehabilitation to patients who have experienced a stroke.
Applicants should be registered as clinical psychologists with the Health and Care Professions Council and have experience working in clinical neuropsychology within an acute setting.
The post holder will work effectively with the inpatient multidisciplinary team, which may involve psychological assessments and treatments, participating in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs), performing mental capacity assessments, coordinating best interest meetings, organizing family meetings, and offering consultation to the wider team.
You will ensure the systematic provision of a highly specialised clinical psychology service within neuropsychological rehabilitation. This involves analyzing complex information to plan and manage psychological assessments and therapies for patients with complex neurological disorders requiring specialist management.
The role includes undertaking service evaluation and audit of clinical practice, as well as contributing to service development.

The post is within the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We maintain strong links with the King's College London Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IOPPN) and other local neuropsychology services within Kings Health Partners.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be required to screen for any previous convictions.
Salary: £59,490 to £66,239 per annum, inclusive of HCA.
