Are you an experienced pharmacist with a passion for digital innovation and improving patient care through technology?
We are looking for a Highly Specialist Clinical Informatics Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Informatics team and play a key role in the development, optimisation and governance of our Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) systems. This exciting role combines advanced clinical pharmacy practice with informatics expertise, helping to shape the future of digital medicines management across the Trust.
As a senior member of the Pharmacy Informatics team, you will lead and support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of electronic prescribing solutions that enhance patient safety, improve clinical outcomes and support efficient healthcare delivery. You will work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, nursing teams, operational services, Digital colleagues and system suppliers to ensure our digital medicines systems meet the evolving needs of patients and staff.
The post makes a significant contribution to the Trust's digital transformation agenda by supporting the safe, effective and efficient use of medicines through innovative technology solutions. You will influence strategic developments in medicines optimisation, electronic prescribing, data quality, clinical decision support and medicines governance, helping to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Reporting to the Informatics Lead Pharmacist, you will work collaboratively across Pharmacy, Digital and Clinical Services and will provide leadership, expert advice and specialist support on medicines informatics. The role also includes line management responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to major Trust-wide digital programmes and service improvements.
