Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting a Band 7 Highly Specialist Children's Physiotherapist for a full-time, three-month contract in Milton Keynes. You will work across hospital and community paediatrics, delivering assessments and treatment plans for children and young people and supporting a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires HCPC registration with specialist paediatric physiotherapy and neurodisability experience. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the paediatric inpatient ward caseload and deliver assessments and treatments for children and young people.
• Handle neurodisability outpatient caseload, conduct CPIP assessments, and develop/review physiotherapy programmes.
• Order, review, and monitor specialist equipment; complete annual EHCP reviews and contribute to EHCP assessments and recommendations.
• Liaise with families, carers, education providers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports to ensure high-quality patient care.

What you will do

• - Manage the paediatric inpatient ward caseload and deliver comprehensive assessments and treatments for children and young people.
• - Handle a neurodisability outpatient caseload, conduct CPIP assessments, and develop and review physiotherapy programmes.
• - Order, review, and monitor specialist equipment, complete annual reviews for EHCPs, and contribute to EHCP assessments and recommendations.
• - Liaise with families, carers, education providers, and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• - Maintain accurate clinical records and reports, ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Requirements

• - To excel in this role, be a HCPC registered Physiotherapist with specialist experience in children's physiotherapy, paediatric ward, and neurodisability conditions. Conducting complex paediatric assessments, CPIP assessments, and developing and reviewing treatment programmes are vital. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required. Excellent communication and report-writing skills are essential. Community paediatric physiotherapy experience and familiarity with neurodevelopmental conditions are desirable.
