A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist / Clinical Scientist at Band 7 level to enhance their Cardiac Ultrasound team in Leeds. The role demands advanced echocardiography skills and leadership capabilities in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will join a BSE-accredited department focused on high-quality patient care and professional development, while flexible working patterns are available.
We are looking to recruit a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist / Clinical Scientist at Band 7 level to join our Cardiac Ultrasound team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a BSE-accredited department dedicated to supporting team development and delivering the highest standard of care to service users. The successful candidate will hold Level 2 BSE Adult Transthoracic Accreditation and be capable of independently scanning and reporting at an advanced level. They should be confident in advanced imaging modalities, including speckle tracking and global longitudinal strain (GLS), and able to provide imaging support for transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE). They will apply their expertise across a range of advanced physiologist-led specialist clinics and contribute to ongoing professional development and service development initiatives. Strong day-to-day leadership and collaboration with the Service Manager are essential, including training responsibilities.
