A leading healthcare provider in Hastings is seeking a senior clinical physiotherapist to manage neuro outpatient services and oversee the professional development of junior staff. You will ensure efficient patient pathways and work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery. To undertake highly specialist clinical physiotherapy assessments and treatments appropriate to Band 7 grade including work requiring particular expertise or ability.
To be responsible for the delivery of neuro out patient service and ensure the management of patients along the pathways is efficient andclinically effective.
To work with the Team Lead to continually review, develop and refine pathways of care, facilitating the delivery of a robust, innovative and expert rehabilitation service.
To take the lead in supervision, education and appraisals of B6 and B5 physiotherapists, Physiotherapist Assistants and students.
To fully integrate within the wider network of therapy services, working in collaboration with other Clinical Leads to ensure there is consistency and assurance across the services within East Sussex.
Striving to improve all aspects of evidenced based practice and quality assurance, working with the wider MDT including but not limited to JCR, MSK, ESHT inpatients, Neurologists, MS and PD Specialist Nurses, MND Co‑ordinators, Hospice Teams and Chaseley Trust through joint working, forums and audits.
To support the Physiotherapy Professional Leads with the development of professional standards associated with Physiotherapy.
