HealthJobs Ltd in Enfield, London, invites applications for a Band 7 Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiography. This is a 2-month, part-time locum post (0.5 WTE, ≈2.5 days per week) with an attractive hourly rate.

You will join a seven-strong Echocardiography team in a BSE-accredited department, performing independent transthoracic studies, assisting with stress and TOE exams, delivering urgent support and education, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent transthoracic echocardiograms
• Assist with stress echocardiography procedures
• Support and assist in transoesophageal echocardiography procedures
• Provide services to inpatient wards, including portable echocardiography
• Deliver urgent echocardiography support in acute and intensive care
• Collaborate with cardiologists and medical teams to discuss echo findings
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions for echocardiography
• Mentor and support trainee Echocardiographers in their BSE accreditation journey
• Deliver educational presentations and training in echocardiography
• Contribute to advanced echo services, including contrast and bubble studies
• Work towards developing physiologist-led valve clinics
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
