Five Rivers Child Care is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our 1 Ace Provision in Ilford, London. You will work with an experienced team to support teachers in classrooms and the community, within a trauma-informed, therapeutic practice framework.

We are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join our 1 Ace Provision in Ilford, London. You will be working with an experienced team and in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
As an HLTA, your day will be varied and interesting you will be able to support our teachers by assisting in the classrooms or out in the community, whilst following a flexible structure and supporting our children and young people to unlock their passion for learning.
1 ACE (Another Chance Education) is our alternative education provision, which works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings; we offer education on an outreach basis or within one of our Ofsted registered a school.
You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.

Our goal is to create a learning environment where emotional well‑being and academic success walk together, enabling each child to succeed. We work with children with social, emotional, and emerging mental health needs.

Our full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 am -4:30 pm
