HLTA – Higher Level Teaching Assistant with responsibility for English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Salary: LBR 6 Points 18-20 (£30,699 - £31,731) (pro rata = (£26,320 - £27,145 approx.)
Location: Chadwell Primary School, Chadwell Heath, Romford, Essex. RM6 4EU
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 5 days (33.75 hours per week; 8.30am till 4.00pm) term time only
Start Date: 1st September 2024

The Headteacher and Governors at Chadwell Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced HLTA (Cover Supervisor) to join our well-established, friendly support team.

The successful candidate will:

1. Participate in the school's ongoing developments;
2. Be part of a team of existing HLTAs;
3. Be flexible, enjoy variety, and cover classes across the primary age range;
4. Supervise whole classes and groups during short-term teacher absences.

Good literacy and maths skills are essential.
