Job summary

The Meadows School in Oldbury is seeking a SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND and deliver lessons across key stages 3–5. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to improving learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will work with staff, students and parents, maintaining engagement and delivering a creative, tailored curriculum within an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with pupils with SEND and planning/ delivering lessons.
• Must be Level 4 HLTA qualification and hold English & Maths GCSE C/4 or higher.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons across key stages 3–5.
• Develop engaging approaches and maintain positive relationships with staff, students and parents.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Meadows for a SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced person to join us.

The successful applicant will have a number of responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons across key stages 3 - 5. Relationships with staff, students and parents are important and the successful applicant will need to utilise a range of engagement strategies.

Hours: 32.5 hours, Term Time plus 1 week
Grade: Grade E,SCP 18 - 25, £32,578 - £37,563 (Actual Salary £25,644 - £30,456 p.a.) + SEN Allowance
Location: The Meadows School, Dudley Road East, Oldbury, B69 3BU/Connor Road, West Bromwich, B71 3DJ
This position maybe based at either of the sites.
