Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Unqualified Teacher? Do you also have experience supporting and teaching students with special needs (SEN)? If so, keep reading!

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a group of mainstream primary schools in Barking & Dagenham who are looking to recruit Higher Level Teaching Assistant's (HLTA) to work within their special needs classrooms/department.

The primary schools are all mainstream primary schools with onsite additional resource provisions (ARP). Students in the ARP range from year 1 to year 6 and all have a diagnosis of Autism.

You will be required to teach small groups of students ranging from year 1 to year 6 who have Autism.

About you:

  • Must have experience supporting/teaching special needs (SEN), ideally Autism
  • Must have experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or unqualified teacher
  • Must be proactive
  • Must be able to use initiative
  • Must have genuine care and desire to improve the outcomes for young people with additional needs
