Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Full-Time Temp to Perm
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Aspire People is currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent training and development options available once permanent.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in childcare or education settings, who is passionate about supporting children-particularly those with special educational needs (SEN). You do not need extensive SEN experience, just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Role Overview:
Provide support for pupils with learning difficulties and sensory needs

Work closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to deliver tailored support

Assist with developing and delivering IEPs (Individual Education Plans)

Use engaging techniques such as LEGO Therapy to support pupil development

Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Training Offered (Once Permanent):
PRICE (Positive Response to Intervention and Crisis Education)
