Job Description:

Join our exceptional SEN school in Croydon as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and help create a supportive and stimulating environment for students with special educational needs.

Role Overview:

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored lessons and interventions that meet the unique needs of our students. Your role will be crucial in enabling students to develop both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons for students with SEN.
2. Lead small group sessions and one-to-one interventions.
3. Assist with the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
4. Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring effective communication with staff and parents.
5. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
6. Provide classroom management support and encourage positive behaviour.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA, preferably in an SEN setting.
2. Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
3. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
