Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic team at a well-respected primary partnership centre in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to make a significant impact on students' learning and development.
Your new role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education. Your responsibilities will include leading small group sessions, providing one-on-one support to students, assisting in planning and implementing engaging lessons, monitoring and assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is initially temporary with the potential to be permanent.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need an HLTA qualification or equivalent, proven experience in a similar role within a primary PRU school setting, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and students, and a commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
