Harehills Primary School in Leeds is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our energetic team. The HLTA will support across all key stages from early years to year six and will include PE duties.

The role is 21 hours a week (3 days) and temporary for 12 months. The post offers a positive school environment, strong professional development, and opportunities to work with families.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Primary

Harehills Primary School is looking for an experienced, energetic and talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team. You will be required to take an active role across school from early years to year six including Physical Education lessons.

This will include:

• Being the perfect role model for children and teaching assistants
• Working within all key phase team to overcome barriers to learning and enable every child to make progress and 'learn, laugh and love' every day
• Inspiring & empowering children of all abilities and ensuring they can take an active part in every aspect of our Harehills Curriculum including PE and our extended offer
• Building effective relationships with colleagues, children and families
• Implementing interventions, gathering information and contributing towards planning and assessments

The position is for 21 hours (3 day week) and is temporary for 12 months in the first instance.
