Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Huddersfield

Location:Huddersfield
Salary:£100 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type:Full-time
Start Date:ASAP

Are you an experiencedHigher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)looking to take on more responsibility in aprimary school setting? Teaching Personnel is seekingqualified and passionate HLTAsto work in primary schools across Huddersfield.

About the Role:

  • Leadwhole-class teachingin the absence of a teacher
  • Provide1:1 and small group supportfor pupils inEYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Assist withlesson planning and classroom management
  • Support pupils withSEN, EAL, and additional learning needs
  • Work closely with teachers to enhancelearning outcomes

About You:

  • Hold aHigher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualificationor equivalent experience
  • Have experienceleading lessons and supporting whole-class teaching
  • Be confident insupporting pupils with varying learning needs
  • Havestrong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Hold anenhanced DBS check(or be willing to apply for one)
