Job summary

Willows Academy in Grimsby seeks a part-time HLTA to support teachers, supervise classes and contribute to pupil welfare and inclusion. You will assist in planning, monitoring and assessment, and help develop resources and policies within a supportive, collaborative academy environment.

The role is temporary with opportunities to contribute to school life and delta academy initiatives, providing a valuable step in professional development within a high-achieving local trust.

Qualifications

About this Role

Willows Academy arelooking to appoint a HLTA to join our academy as soon as possible on a parttime, temporary basis.

Your new role

As a HLTA, youwill complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and contribute to thedevelopment of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies.You will work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the wholeplanning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will supervisewhole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will providesupport to pupils, teachers and the academy in order to raise standardsofachievement for all, by utilising your advanced levels of knowledge and skillswhen assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes and toencourage pupils to become independent learners. You will provide support forpupil welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of academylife.
