Willows Academy is seeking a HLTA to join the team in September 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis. The post joins a Trust transforming educational outcomes in deprived North England areas; the HLTA will support teachers, plan with staff, and support pupils to raise achievement.

Interviews will be held on 21 July 2026. Salary is Grade F, Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 FTE), pro rata with a minimum actual pro rata of £22,416.63.

Willows Academy arelooking to appoint a HLTA to join our academy in September 2026 on a part time,temporary basis.

Your new role

As a HLTA, youwill complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to thedevelopment of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies. You will work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the wholeplanning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will supervisewhole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will providesupport to pupils, teachers and the academy in order to raise standardsof achievement for all, by utilising your advanced levels of knowledge and skillswhen assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes and toencourage pupils to become independent learners. You will provide support forpupil welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of academylife.

Salary: Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 FullTime Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this jobstarts at £22,416.63

Hours: 32.5 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5days (39 weeks).
