Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Grimsby is seeking a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning across the school with dedicated PPA time. You will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, support pupils one-to-one and in groups, and help maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Experience as an HLTA or KS2/KS1 is advantageous; NVQ level 3/4 is preferred, with enhanced DBS checks and a commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, adaptable and a strong team player.
• Previous HLTA experience is advantageous.

Salary: £105-£140 per day

Role

Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in reputable schools in Grimsby.

Covering all classes across the school, with allocated PPA time.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
• Provide support and guidance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.

• Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.

Additional Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to cover all classes across the school. Additionally, you will be allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to ensure you can effectively support the school's educational objectives.

Requirements

• Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be patient, adaptable, and an effective team player.
• Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role is advantageous.
