We are currently seeking passionate HLTAs to support students across various settings in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a strong team of educators and make a genuine impact on learners’ educational journeys.

Our schools in Doncaster (DN5) are committed to creating a stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing environment. As a HLTA, you will take on a vital role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers to raise achievement and deliver high-quality lessons and interventions. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team who are committed to student success.
The Role:
As a HLTA, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting groups or individuals, and contributing to the wider school environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Lesson Delivery: Confidently deliver planned lessons across various subjects in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on track.
2. Intervention Support: Work with small groups and individual pupils to raise achievement, especially in literacy and numeracy.
3. Behaviour Management: Implement effective strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
4. Assessment and Feedback: Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCO to inform future planning.
5. Classroom Support: Support classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and ensure pupils’ needs are met effectively.
Requirements:
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience delivering lessons and supporting learning in a primary or secondary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in managing behaviour and promoting positive outcomes.
• A flexible and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for education.
• A competitive daily rate of £95-£120.
• Full-time position starting September 2025.
