A prestigious educational organization in Brixham is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to help students access the curriculum and enhance their learning experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide support to pupils, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement. Working alongside class teachers, they will help to raise the learning and attainment of pupils, prompting pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. The successful candidate will plan relevant lessons for delivery in the provision, employing a range of adaptive teaching strategies to ensure that all pupils within the provision make progress. They will closely monitor the social, emotional and academic progress of pupils who access the provision, and will deliver small group intervention where required including literacy and numeracy. Applicants who have yet not completed the HLTA qualification will be considered, however they will be expected to complete the accredited course via our provider.
