Job description

Primary School PPA Higher Level Teaching Assistant (September) - Great Barr

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a full-time role in Great Barr? I am looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join Aspire People to work in various year groups across the school, supporting with PPA cover and intervention groups.

Responsibilities:
Leading small group sessions to support students in their learning and development.
Support with PPA cover for release times.
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
Contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Requirements:
Relevant qualifications and experience as a HLTA.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Dedication to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
