HLTA - EYFS & KS1 Focus | Full-Time Role in Primary School
Rochdale | Start: September 2025 | Full-Time, Term Time

Are you an experienced HLTA or Nursery Manager looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school setting? We are currently seeking a confident and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant with strong EYFS and KS1 experience to join a welcoming school in Rochdale on a full-time basis from September 2025.

The Role:
* Full-time, term-time only position
* Responsible for covering PPA time in both Nursery and Reception classes
* Leading small group sessions and supporting whole-class teaching
* Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS curriculum
* Supporting class teachers across EYFS and occasionally into KS1 as needed
* Helping to maintain a nurturing and engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidate:
* Holds HLTA status or has significant EYFS experience (former Nursery Managers highly encouraged to apply)
* Confident in delivering lessons and leading activities independently
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
* Passionate about early years education and supporting young learners
