Are you an experienced and qualified HLTA with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our partner secondary school in Bude, Cornwall, working within a well-established Area Resource Base (ARB).
Job Details:
Start Date: ASAP - Flexible start dates available
Contract Type: Part-Time, Temporary
Hours: 8:45 am - 3:15 pm
Pay: £110 - £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the School:
Our partner school in Bude provides a specialist Area Resource Base (ARB) for secondary students with complex and multiple learning needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties. The ARB offers a structured and nurturing environment where students follow a personalised curriculum focused on academic learning, life skills, and sensory development. Students may work toward Entry Level qualifications and, when appropriate, access mainstream classes for GCSEs. The provision includes specialist facilities such as a sensory room and accessible outdoor areas, ensuring every student receives the tailored support they need. All placements in the ARB are coordinated via Cornwall Council's SEND team and require an EHCP.
