Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Hourly Rate: £14.50–£16.50
Location: Scarborough

We are working with a well-regarded, inclusive school in the Scarborough area that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The school promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment, where pupils are supported to develop confidence and independence.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support pupils across the school. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has the skills and confidence to lead learning under the guidance of teaching staff.

The successful candidate will bring initiative, flexibility, and a nurturing approach. HLTA status or equivalent experience is essential, along with the ability to deliver planned lessons and interventions independently.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting learning across a range of age groups and subjects
• Leading small groups or covering classes as required
• Supporting the planning and assessment of pupil progress
• Working closely with teachers and school leaders to meet learning needs
• Encouraging independence, engagement, and inclusion
