Position: HLTA at a Primary School in Bristol

Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or someone with experience delivering lessons to children? Are you looking to build your experience teaching primary age groups?

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking an HLTA to support an incredible 2-form entry school in the heart of Bristol.

This primary school is a great place for you to develop your skills and knowledge, as the staff are friendly, supportive, and motivated to provide the best learning experience for their pupils.

The Role

This is a part-time position until the end of the academic year. You will be working across all year groups, covering PPA time, and delivering agreed learning activities.

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who is willing to work throughout all year groups, using your own initiative to adapt activities to meet the children’s needs.

You will be expected to:

1. Engage children in their learning.
2. Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
3. Thrive on challenging children’s abilities.
4. Have previous teaching experience and a strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
5. Have experience working with SEND children.
