Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join a thriving school in Wythenshawe, M23 for the full academic year. The role involves delivering planned lessons, covering classes in the absence of teachers, and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to deliver targeted interventions and create an inclusive learning environment that fosters pupil development and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or significant relevant classroom experience.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups.
• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
