Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £90 – £95 per day

The School/role:

We are currently looking for an experienced higher level teaching assistant who can take on a full-time on-going job role in a Special Educational Needs provision in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has a passion for education and supporting children to reach their full potential.

The candidate for this role will be experienced supporting SEN children alongside children with a range of different academic attainment levels. This will require patience, commitment and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment.

The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. The staff in the school aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students. This job opportunity is very fulfilling for people who have higher level teaching assistant experience.

Requirements:

• Level 4 HLTA
• SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience
• Level 1 safeguarding certificate
• Recent school based references
• Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
• Full DBS – on the update service
