Job description

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 class in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Warrington. This full-time, long-term Higher Level Teaching Assistant position is ideal for someone ready to take on more responsibility while still supporting class teaching and pupil development.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be a key part of the Year 6 team, helping to deliver a smooth, structured, and inspiring curriculum in preparation for SATs. This role starts ASAP and may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant Will:

• Have recent experience supporting in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Be confident supporting or delivering lessons in the teacher's absence.
• Be a proactive, professional, and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.

Requirements for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
• Two references covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Availability for full-time, long-term work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
