Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism and SEMH needs at Greenholm School in London. You will help learners grow, develop abilities and raise self-esteem, while collaborating with teaching staff to deliver tailored activities.

The role offers a supportive team, well-resourced environments and opportunities for career progression within the group, including robust induction and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
• NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Ability to plan meetings and liaise with teachers to devise activities
• Commitment to supporting pupils with ASD/SEMH and diverse needs

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism and SEMH needs in learning and development
• Help raise pupil self-esteem and confidence through positive reinforcement
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver individualized learning activities
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
