Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, SEMH and other needs. You’ll help learners develop skills, raise self-esteem and work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored activities in a supportive environment.

You’ll require NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification (or equivalent) and demonstrate resilience, adaptability and a passion for making a positive difference in SEND settings.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a teaching assistant.
• NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to support pupils with SEND and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and raise self-esteem for pupils with SEND.
• Plan and deliver learning activities in collaboration with teachers.
• Provide a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
