A ‘Good’ Primary School with Outstanding features in Southampton are looking for a HLTA to work within Key Stage 2.

The school is a vibrant & popular Primary School, in their most recent Ofsted inspection they were graded a ‘Good’ School with Outstanding features.

The role is to start in September for a long - term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. To be considered for this role you must have experience of working with children with complex needs and be extremely resilient.

The responsibilities will include supporting children’s learning and development inside and outside of the classroom, some whole class teaching, marking and assessing a small sample of children’s work, reading intervention and generally promoting and encouraging good behaviour.

The minimum requirements for this Teaching Assistant role are:-

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • 2 Years’ worth of references
  • A current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
